Book Review ~ Bared to You by Sylvia Day

With all the hype that the 50 Shades of Grey series caused, it's no surprise that now we find ourselves reading more and more in the media about new books of a similar theme and genre being published, and even 50 Shades courses and seminars! 

But when I picked up "Bared to You", I knew that this was different, I had a feeling that I would prefer this book to the 50 Shades trilogy. I was right.

I'm not really someone who enjoys reading really sexual or filthy books, I much prefer a soft and gentle romantic book such as those by Mills and Boon. I would describe this book as the next step up from a Mills and Boon with an enthralling plot.

I read this book in just over a week, and have now passed it on to my other half. Lovingly I was told by my partner that I had no need in reading such a book, I could spend my time more wisely with him :) But persist I did and glad that I did. I really enjoyed this book that sees the joining of two characters with dark pasts who travel together through their own insecurities and issues as they strive to be as one together. 

I really couldn't put this book down, and I honestly wouldn't recommend such a sexual read if I didn't. If you enjoyed 50 Shades, you will simply ADORE this book. But please note there are no Rooms of pain or Punishment in this book (thankfully!), just a normal blooming relationship full of passion. 

I picked my copy up at the local supermarket, so I'm sure you won't find it difficult to track down a copy for yourself. 

If you fell in love with Mr Grey for being Ana's 'Fifty', you will discover upon reading Bared to You, that it's much more thrilling and passionate to fall for Mr Cross for being Eva's 'Dark and Dangerous'. 

I know who I prefer :  Mr Dark and Dangerous! 

And the best news? Book 2 is out real soon in October 2012! (25th October) with Book 3 following in January 3rd 2013
