Love, Life, Live ~ Post 100

Hey all,

Wow! Not only is today valentines day *Happy Valentines to all of you out there*, it is also a day where I have finally been given the gift of seeing a way forward, and.... (Yes there is more! - there is always more with me!) but it is also the day I blog my 100th post!!!

What better way to celebrate this fantastic day of LOVE that to blog about how I have made my life more *lovable*.

I have over the weekend whilst I had no voice to use through laryngitis decorated my bedroom. Now it could be a bit too pink and floral for some, but for me, it is perfect. I knew it when I saw the picture that inspired me, and the feeling the room has now its done is well... beyond what I expected. I feel happy, inspired, carefree, and well, ALIVE!!!

Here are the pic's that inspired me;

So I set my mind on creating a Vintage and pretty Pink home for myself, starting with my bedroom.... and here is the finished picture...

So pretty! I am in love with it! I even have my witchy altar set up too and it looks perfect as a little vintage witches bedroom ... dont you think?

Now, you remember the mirror shown in the picture? Well, my Dad brought me that many many years ago when I was a little girl. At the time, I didn't like it as I thought the writing was spoiling it "Who'd write on a mirror?" I said!

Well Mum found it and I saw it, looked at it and said "Oh My.... how beautiful is this? Corsets and Busts unbreakable... that sounds like an Unbreakable woman! How empowering!" So it had to go on my wall, and just how darn pretty does it look now?

Well I couldn't just leave it there. I wanted to know about J.B. Side Spring Corsets... so I googled it and found a corset by them...

dated 1905-1907

OMG, how beautiful is this? And my, I never expected it to be so old :D

Well, this got me thinking and now I have some wonderful ideas for this Witch Inside. I can't reveal anything just yet, but I will in due course.

With my bedroom now looking so beautiful, I have more space in there too with careful rearrangement of furniture, so I just have to set my desk area up and I know my ideas will flow and be fabulous!

oh, and just in case you're wondering, yes I have inspiration for my desk...

I'll let you know how that project goes too.

So to end this Valentines day 100th post, I will leave you with this....

Make sure you do everything you can to;

Bright Blessings,

Aurora )O(

A Busy Witch Without Her Broom!

Merry Meet my lovely witchlings,

I cannot believe it's been so long since I last posted in August. You can definately tell that I am back at work. With me posting again now, you should also be able to tell that im due a holiday soon! I should quickly express my sincere and huge gratitiude and elation that I have Samhain off work this year!!!! I am so happy!!

Right let's get down to business, what have I been upto? Well to say that I am without broom right now is an understatement. I know like I have a hole in the head that when you live your *Earthly* life you are to face strains, struggles, happiness and stress. I also know that you are supposed to, as a Witch, draw upon your belief system, that magick within to keep you stable, happy, comfortable and stress free. So why is it that everytime I have extra responsibilities placed upon me from work regarding my teaching, personal relationships with friends, romantic stirrings, and University activites and assignments, so I still NOT use that knowledge I have????? Hmmmm???? "I'm waiting!..." (By the way, that was me asking myself, not you...)

Seriously no wonder broom got up and left lol. Well, I have a nice witchy feeling going on inside me, I think due to the approaching holiday season of Samhain, and I want my broom back. I've seen a couple of books I want. Whenever I think of books I want and talk to others about them, I imagine myself as that witch in "Hocus Pocus" when she squeals "Booook!" out of the window lol. I even have the sound of her imprinted in my mind.
Well the ones im thinking of are; Silver Ravenwolf's 'Hedgewitch' (it really is quite good!), Silja's 'Green Book of Shadows' (there are lots of delightfully witchy spells in this one and its in full colour and illustrated which to me, provides stimulating insteadof a boring book with just words on white pages... I like a bit of something different now and again.

Other news, work. I have lots of new responsibilities. I am now in charge of distributing "Maths Packs" to 46 children in the school. It's basically a maths themed game that the children get to take home on a weekly basis and play at home. It's really good, the only downside is that every Monday I have to trawl across the school getting 46 children's games and then taking them new ones. :( ho hum.
I'm also being set free on teaching Religious Education every week to year 4 from after the Samhain holiday. And for my first proper Half term of teaching the subject, i'm delighted to be teaching "Angels". We're covering Guardian Angels, proving their existence, and their belief in them. I'm really excited. Also I will be teaching once a week a Literacy Skills lesson where I literally boost their english skills such as understanding non-fiction & fiction, their differences etc, and things like how to write more exciting sentences. Along with those skills I'll be doing Numeracy skills. Along the same lines.
ALSO ( I should have warned you it was going to be a long one!) I am in charge fo teaching Year 6 children (10-11 year olds) Level 6 Mathematics as no-one else in the school can do it. Im in charge of how I do it, as long as I get them to a level 6! No pressure hey?!

Right, more news...... oh yes!!! I have a new man in my life... Alex. He's italian/Portuguese and completely handsome. It's really good. Im really happy and we have lots fo fun together. The past two weekends I've stayed at his home and it's been lovely to just be with each other doing normal stuff. We even changed the bedroom round today. He's older than I am, but it's perfect, he's a grown up and not an immature idiot. I love him and he loves me. That's all i'm saying, as unlike before when I've shouted about my relationships from the rooftops, I'm wanting to keep him all to myself lol. (possessive or what!) lol.

Well, that's it for now, but I plan on updating you next weekend as I'll be on my jolly Samhain holidays!!!

Peace, Love, Happiness and Faerie Blessings,
Blessed Be

One Happy Witchette

Merry Meet my lovely's

How are you today? (Sits on edge of sofa eagerly awaiting your reply)

Me??? Im damn fantastic!! I really am, no sarcasm. I seriously am happy. Borderline delerously happy!! Why???? Life is just being so good to me. Im enjoying life with every breath. How???? By reading, knowing and applying the teachings in "The Power" by Rhonda Byrne. Seriously this woman needs a bouquet of "thank you" flowers from me.

Reading the book has just made everything so clear to me, and i'm loving more and more. I could laugh at how happy I am, I haven't been like this for ..... 6 years.... which means you may just meet the other side to me and think..."Wow is sheeeee a nut job". lol.

So, I read the book before bed, slept and got woken by fireworks at 2am this morning....Happy Diwali haha. Yeah, well I was enjoying my sleep thank you fireworks. Also thank you for blinding me with the light!! HAHA

Anyway, I woke up this morning, smile on my face, cuddle from Jase, and then he makes me laugh so much by informing me that his mission for the day is to buy Liz Earle Anti-Wrinkle cream..... for HIMSELF lol. Well that had me in creases that I almost had him buy me some. Breakfast with a song and a smile....(Seriously no sex involved lol) Then as we went out for a walk to the shops as I notice the things around me (Amazing since I nearly always couldn't care less), We spoke about definately needing to move... decided that somewhere in the heart of Shropshire... perhaps Bewdley/Hartlebury area, I recall what I read in the book about when you see something you like, it;s there for you to say "YES" to...it's around you because you're drawing it to you...so anyway, lovely snazzy cars...."YES",......People who aren't fussed with dropping a few pennies out of purse saying "Oh well it'll bring luck to someone"..."YES"..... get this!! Go to supermarket, fumbling for coin for trolley....there is already £1 coin in a trolley ...waiting for me "YES"...... waiting in the queue for the lottery, I notice a newspaper for 70p (my Nans age when she passed), and it's only a bloody Shropshire newspaper....never has it been there before... "YES" And it's just continuing from there really...

Also I have my Charcoal blocks, incense that is amazing: frankincense & myrhh, sandalwood, patchouli, and lemongrass.... Karma Cleansed the house and myself...which could be why life is so good for me too... add to that the fact that I have created a Diwali altar...seriously I love Hinduism...you'll find that I love religion me... couldn't care what it is, if I like it, I'll celebrate it. So yes, my Diwali altar is dedicated to money, success, happiness and of course Lakshmi. Isn't it beautiful.

Thats my day so far..... did he get the anti-wrinkle cream????? "YES" he did :-D Does he need it?? ....."YES" he does LMAO, no of course he doesn't, he's handsome as he is. ..... (Still nothing to do with sex) haha.
