Brewing Up Acceptance with Baba Yaga
Saturday, 29 March 2014
Today I woke up feeling very grouchy and I knew I needed to do something to shake it off, so I headed off with Baba Yaga for a brew in an ancient forest. As part of my personal magickal development I am a member of the Soul Path Tribe (I've spoken about it before and you can click the link in the sidebar to discover more and sign up yourself), and each month we work with a specific Goddess. March was all about Baba Yaga and taking risks in our life.
For me, March has been a topsy turvy, higgledy piggledy month because I found myself really not wanting to settle anymore for less than I deserve. I discovered that I wanted, desired and deserved more. So I began a mental life clearing by making decisions on what I was no longer going to accept in my life, which has had it's moments of "gloom and doom". I actually detest those moments in my life when I feel sorry for myself and I seriously get on my own nerves in a big way.
Anyway, going back to today, I was met in meditation by a Fox who guided me through the ancient forest until I reached Baba Yaga's hut. When I saw this hut dancing around on it's chicken legs I couldn't help but giggle. The freedom I felt there was mixed for me, because although I felt the peace in the location, I didn't feel at peace within myself. I was still too uptight and pissed off to be honest. Well, Baba Yaga came flying towards me not on her broom but in her Mortar and Pestle. It was actually one of the most wonderfully magickal moments I have ever witnessed in meditation. Out she popped and into her hut she went.
I found a log outside to sit on, and just watched the hut feeling some sense of calm within. Then Baba Yaga came out with two cups of tea, and she handed me one. When I drank it, it tasted like lemon and ginger tea and I felt a wave of emotion come over me and my shoulders relaxed and then, right there in that moment, I wasn't sipping tea with an old hag, or a witch with a reputation, I was sipping Lemon and Ginger tea with a Grandmother Guide/Goddess. There was a gift in the tea and Baba Yaga brewed it with immense intuition as to what I really needed : Acceptance.
It dawned upon me that for a few years now, I haven't accepted myself much. I've tolerated myself and my life, but accepting has been a HUGE NO NO. I have regrets as does a lot of us, I regret allowing myself to give up on my biggest dream of becoming an accountant, but I don't accept that I allowed it to happen. I regret sometimes becoming a life coach, because I feel that everyone assumes I have everything sorted and switched on and live in "super perfect world" which I don't and no one ever will, but I haven't accepted that I'm a life coach - part of me regrets becoming one because... well... it's in fashion right now to be a life coach and when something becomes TOO popular, it becomes a piss take. Another thing I regret is allowing myself to become too close and open with people in my life in the past because that sharing my weaknesses became ammunition for them as those relationships fled apart, and I also regret being so afraid of being burnt/hurt/stabbed in the back again that I closed up all my barriers and am really guarded about what I share and how much I share and when exactly I share - if I do at all. And those regrets and hurts, well I haven't accepted them either - not fully. Forgive? Yes, but forget and accept? I'm not there yet 100%, but that's OK because I accept where I am right now, and I accept that I hold the power within me to move forward in whatever direction I choose.
So Baba Yaga brewed up some "ACCEPTANCE" for me and I sipped it and embraced it all and she told me a special message to help me through. At the moment, I'm not quite what direction I will take with my being a life coach, I know my other directions and I know that in the coming month as I work with Lilith, my authenticity will most certainly shine through.

New Moon? Same Old Story - Re Written!
Monday, 7 October 2013
Merry Meet everyone,
It was my birthday on Saturday which also happened to be the New Moon, I had a lovely day, spent the weekend with my Handsome Paramedic who spoilt me rotten. He cooked me a gorgeous meal, bought me Nexus 4 Mobile phone however the speakers didn't work so it's been sent back for them to send me one that actually works! I was spoilt by my Mum who bought me lovely gifts such as fitness equipment (I am working out more these days, and being kept on track by my health & fitness coach), books, DVD Box Sets such as Ghost Whisperer, new hair straighteners, clothes etc. I am one lucky girly!
But the New Moon really brought up some energies that I have personally been feeling for a while, especially in relation to my spiritual pathway. Many of you have been here with me on this blog since it's birth when it was "The Witch Inside", then it changed to Living a Life of Blessings, then to The Faerie Whisperer, then more recently to Finding the Goddess Within and now it has come full circle and returned to "Witch Inside". This blog has ALWAYS been a reflection of me and my spiritual pathway.
I feel that I began to lose my way a little when I felt the urge to change it the first time, and I have to say that I am particularly pleased that it has returned to all it's glorious witchiness! There is a saying that "Once a Witch, Always a Witch!", now I truly believe that with all my soul. I can try and ignore it and maybe for a year or so it will die down and bury itself deep within me, but sooner or later it will resurface and it will ultimately win!
Now what does this mean for me? Well personally it means a whole load of exciting things for me, it means that I get to post about my witchy ponderings once again that many of you first began to follow this blog for, it means that I get to really share my soul with you all once more without fear of upsetting my readers, it means that I get to incorporate my coaching that I've studied, trained, and am qualified in with all my new age, metaphysical, spiritual and witchy ways. I wonder sometimes how they will blend together, but that is the beauty of life. They all blend into making my life MINE naturally, and I am sure that the Goddess, my angels and my loved ones on the other side will undoubtedly help me blend them here on the wonderful world wide web.
I spoke to some fellow light-workers on facebook today about these changes and a lot of people have felt the energy and even thanked me for posting about my personal feelings towards this. it seems that the New Moon certainly brought about a new beginning by bringing back some old ways of our own personal pathways.
I would love to hear about how the New Moon on the 5th October 2013 affected you, please share in the comments as I am deeply intrigued to hear your story and I'd also love it if you came and "friended" me on Facebook - I really am a Friendly Witch!

Friday 13th, A Day of Happy Endings
Friday, 13 September 2013
So I began the day in a positive optimistic mood like I usually do on both Friday 13th and Tuesday 13th (the equivalent for Greeks), but it was like my morning coffee boost went sour! Seriously anything that could go wrong went wrong, like the fact that my stability ball lost it's pin to keep it inflated, I searched everywhere! Nowhere to be found!
Then there was the fact that I am just so seriously done with feeling "guilty" with not being the teaching assistant that is going to be walked all over, hence why I haven't been in the school since June! So I was going through a "Woe is me" moment (or hourS rather) and I'd quite clearly had enough of myself!
Further developments were that I was pretty pissed at the fact that I've paid to train, study and qualify as a life coach and since then, in less than a year everywhere I turn there is one of my "friends" who are launching themselves as a life coach just as if they woke up one morning and said in a Barbie tone "Oh, today I'm going to be a life coach!" and literally off they went! No credentials, no experience from their training because there is no training behind them, and in all honesty the mockery making of life coaching in my opinion is almost 30% away from being an utter mockery of a mess just like psychic readings have become "Entertainment purposes only!". These thoughts of mine then went onto start mentally listing all the people and ways people have stabbed me in the back and I thought, "you know what girl? You need a stab proof vest now!"
Next I couldn't get registered on the course of my choice at University because I'd just missed the deadline by a day or so and they were not budging an inch! So I took a leaf out of a book I've read and reviewed and I said "F*CK IT!"
Then things started to shift. Not miraculously, but slowly. Mum found my stability ball pin, she literally laid her hands on it like any "Samantha - Be*Witched" style witch would, YAY!, then I found books from my childhood whilst going through boxes with Mum YAY! You know what... here's 13 ways that Friday 13th turned out to be a day of happy endings for me!
- Mum found my stability ball pin
- Discovered childhood books like babysitters club series, animal ark, fairytales, etc
- My Core Secrets Workout DVDs came
- Reclaimed my Jet Black hair seeing as the sun no longer has it's hat on and can no longer put a red tint in it through it's rays
- Amazing news that is going to BOOST my career through the roof and into space beyond until I am at LEAST in my 60s (bear in mind that I'm only 24 now!)
- Received the opportunity to revamp and update my wardrobe to an exceptionally high standard - twit twooo!
- Found spell books I'd packed away for safe keeping whilst my home was being upgraded
- Mum and I brainstormed a "Mother + Daughter" project :)
- Mum informed me that she's been making me a surprise new duvet/complete bedding set including curtains
- Amazing support from my Fitness coach :) Thank you hun!
- Found a Pentacle pendant of mine amongst music CDs
- Found a box of ornaments forgotten about
- Found an old handbag with a purse that happened to have £45.68 still in it!
So you see, Friday 13th and in fact any day may start out to be a complete and utter pants day, but it CAN turn out to be a happy ending!
Happy Friday 13th xxxx

There's No Place Like Home
Thursday, 1 August 2013
As you know from my previous post, I had been renovating this blog and challenged myself to allow this blog to return to it's what I feel, it's glory of when I post here like I would in a journal. So, today, 1st August, I put out a request to the Universe to guide me on how I can create this blog the way I want it. Then I came across "Effy Wild" and read her blog. I had my answer. I would accept the challenge of 30 days of postings as I "BlogAlong with Effy" .
Day 1: There's No Place Like Home
Today marks the day that I have lived in my home for 23 glorious years. it was only about 10 years ago when I discovered paganism that I realised this anniversary fell upon Lammas. The move date wasn't organised because of the date, but rather life unfolded naturally and it just so happened that we moved into this home at Lammas.
I have had some of the best times of my life here in this house, and I've also had some of the downright most awful times here in my life. Right now, the house's energy is rebuilding itself after being abused by workmen - You know when you feel like your house just ain't happy? Well, our house ain't happy with the damage done by the workmen! No amount of smudging and singing bowl banging has helped, instead filling it with laughter and hopefulness has had to build up good vibes over the past few years.
The best times I've had here include the time when I received my "Pass" letter that told me I had passed my accountancy exams - I still remember that day now! I've also begun studying at University here in this house, I recall how and where I studied for that first ever module. It's also the house that I used to exercise in when I was younger and had a passion for aerobic videos (Rosemary Conley, Lizzie Webb, Shape Challenge, and so many more!), It's also the house where I used to dance late at night with my father whilst my mother watched us, laughing and smiling! It's the house that my baby Magick (cat) came to live with me in, the house where I thought I'd killed him by lying on him in bed when he was a baby - he was hiding under the bed, I couldn't see him. It's the house that I stood in my bedroom reading the newspaper that featured my first ever published in print article. It's the house that I studied to be a life coach in, and it's the house that I now run my life coaching online consultations and motivations from.
The bad times here, have been exactly that - downright bloody awful. Like the time that I was waking up on a Sunday Morning to the phone ringing and my Mum answering. From my bedroom I heard her call my Dad from the bathroom and he spoke on the phone before bursting into tears on my bed telling me that my aunty Doris had passed away after having another stroke. It's the house that was getting ready to celebrate the beginning of the Millenium, when at 8:30pm, literally less that 4 hours to seeing in the new year and the millennium, my beloved cat, Tinkerbelle, passed away, ripping out the entire families hearts. We went to bed by 10pm that night. No new year celebrations. It's also the house that I stood in when I watched my Dad leave the house for a hospital appointment 9 years ago and I stood by the front door watching him get in a cab with my Mum, and I said to my cat, Pepsie, I'm never going to see him again - 3 months later, he passed away in hospital from Cancer, I hadn't seen him since the day he left for the appointment as he deteriorated so rapidly and badly, it would have been too traumatic for me. It's the house that I was rushed to hospital from at 7 years old with food poisoning that almost killed me.
BUT...
It's the house that has been my home. It's the house that keeps me safe, that contains all my childhood memories, the house that comforted me when I was recovering from the abusive relationship. It's my house that keeps me warm and dry, the house that is my sanctuary when I want to shut the world out, it's the house that I dream my dreams, hope to achieve my goals, plan for my future. It's my home that gave me the childhood that I am so thankful for having, the fun, the laughs, the birth of dreams.
It's my home. It's my childhood. It's who I am. It's a part of me.

Transform Anyone's Life ~ 10 Secrets
Tuesday, 5 March 2013
This guy is known as SuperCoach - and with very good reason. Michael Neill has spent 22 years coaching, advising, and mentoring celebrities, CEOs, royalty, and people who want more from their lives! Paul McKenna calls him "The finest success coach in the world today" and his own mentor Steve Chandler notes him as "a Supercoach in real life".
So why am I telling you about this "Supercoach" guy?
Good question! Michael Neill has put his SuperCoach talents into the written word and created a book that gives you the 10 secrets to transform anyone's life. Let me show you the book I'm talking about here.

| Amazing Cover! |
SuperCoach by Michael Neill
Published by Hay House UK/ Hay House USA
RRP £10.99 / $14.95
First published by Hay House back in 2009, SuperCoach returns with a fabulous cover and great content just as before. The book is written into 10 sessions, just like you'd have when working with a coach. The sessions aren't too hard going, nor are they so easy that you feel that you lack momentum, but then again, we're talking about 10 coaching sessions (at your leisure) with SuperCoach Michael Neill - so what do you really expect?
During the sessions you can expect;
- Time Management tools to make Time your friend
- Secrets to lasting financial security - even in a tough economy
- Emotions and how your perception impacts upon your day
- How to make decisions (and how you're already making decisions)
- How listening correctly can bring you success
- Goals - How your involvement and investment in them can increase their success level
- and so much more!
I didn't quite know what to expect from this book, but I got more than what I ... well expected! I can only say that once you've read it, you are equipped with SuperCoach knowledge, tools and insights into how to become a more successful you. You come away from each session with a task, some homework to work on and you don't have a time frame for any of this, it's completely at your leisure, and when you are ready (because who knows ourselves better than we know ourselves?) you return to the book and continue through to the next session.
Being armed with SuperCoach - you can not only transform your life to gain more success, but you can transform what's on the inside - the soul of who you truly are. When I say this, I mean that you learn how to become a better person, a person that everyone wants to be around, you learn how to enhance your magnetic qualities, you learn how to be a better friend, a more attentive partner, and you also learn that your success and happiness (because this SuperCoach manual works on your well-being too), has a huge impact on those around you.
I would say this book is perfect for anyone who wants to make a change in their life but are unsure where to start, perhaps you're unsure where you need to begin, or what you need to do. Michael teaches you about the difference between your WANTs and your NEEDs and after reading this book you will never look at your life in the same way again.
And you are welcome to stand their in your place of power, in a SuperCoach stance declaring; "I've been 'SuperCoached' by Michael Neill, I Love Life and Life Loves Me" and then zoom off into your successful life that you've worked hard to transform!

Happy December Everyone!
A few months ago I never would have dreamed that I would be in the happy, successful and exciting place that I am in right now. It's been a tough journey healing my Mind, Heart and Soul, but I am 90% there now. I will share this in another blog post real soon. But right now, I want to keep the happy flow going!
As you can see from the above banner that now graces my NEW page on Facebook, I have come out of the closet - I am now using my birth name "Dawn" rather than my spiritual name "Aurora" for my work, blogs, social media etc etc. So hi everyone!
This morning I woke up to find we were officially at December 1st!
20 days to do before we experience some cosmic shift of perception.
And I have to say I was and still am, over the hills stupidly and excitedly happy!
I'm really not a morning person, but today I awoke with a fresh perspective and a feeling of closure on the past and a new beginning just waiting for me to cross the START line. So I jumped to it! I grabbed my new journal I bought yesterday and began my fresh practice of daily gratitude and affirmations.
Then when I logged onto facebook, I visited "DAWN BRIERLEY UK" and began my new "31 Day Gratitude Awareness Class" and I posted the following;
♥ Gratitude Awareness Class - Day 1 ♥
Today, what are you grateful for? Do you feel grateful during your day? Try and mentally make a note of those moments where you feel really grateful, glad to be alive, and in a state of pure bliss.

Feel the Fear and Do it Anyway
Monday, 26 November 2012
The famous quote by Susan Jeffers at first eluded me as I wondered why on earth anyone would want to do something they feared. I mean why would you want to be locked in a lift for hours on end - completely stuck? Or why would you want to skydive? Just thinking about them brings shivers down my spine.
But this year I've learnt a lot about feeling the fear and doing it anyway. I've achieved a lot and I've survived a lot this year. And that's the important two key words for me that really sum up 2012;
ACHIEVE and SURVIVE.
Self inspiring when I think about how much courage it took me for me to post my photo on Facebook for the first time all those years ago, and how I didn't have the confidence to speak publically. And now... I really enjoy recording PodCasts and YouTube videos about all types of spirituality.... seems I'm stepping into a Public Speaker role ..... Many of my SHEroes are Metaphysical Speakers who inspire millions everyday... maybe there is a space there for me one day. Or perhaps "One Day has already Arrived" ♥
So let me tell you, or rather, let me show you what I've been up to lately.
I've recorded this latest Podcast for The Faeries and Angels Radio Network

And I have recorded this YouTube video for you to catch up with me
And I have recorded this little Video for you via The Faeries and Angels YouTube Channel where I talk to you about the inspirational text; A Course in Miracles. This particular video is all about how we can see past the negative things in our life.
So that's a little message to you all from me. Please let me know your thoughts below or on the YouTube channel in the comments below the video.
News and Plans for the Future
Saturday, 27 October 2012
Hello everyone,
I thought it was about time that I update you on happenings within the Faerie Whisperers' Faerie Witch life.
I thought it was about time that I update you on happenings within the Faerie Whisperers' Faerie Witch life.
As you all are aware, I've had a very horrible and testing time in my life and my plan was and is to take back my power and fully control my life. Well, on Tuesday I had another counselling session which helped so much. I don't feel it immediately but a couple of days after the session I start to feel that anything is possible and I can and will be happy again. It's during those days that I feel like the old me in a way, yet I feel more like the NEW me. (See my picture above - that was/is me on a good day since it happened).
My lists of "Things I like about myself" have improved dramatically with one entry the other day actually declaring that "I am beautiful". The photo above helped me realise that I am very good looking (She says with a pang of ouchy as she feels that's a little egotistical of herself). I've also been reading a book that I will be reviewing, and it's really got into my head and thus removed a great deal of the ex's voice out of my head. I've realised where I was going right many years ago in my life and where I went slightly wrong in more recent years. This is helping me to gradually grab my life by the horns and begin to steer it back in the direction that makes me truly happy, that allows me to live as my true self.
So what's my plan?
Well, right now everything is really still in the Inquiry stage, so I don't want to declare too much in case it all falls through and I back out, but let's just say that being a Primary Teacher really isn't where my heart lies, and it doesn't make me as happy as a career could do.
I've been taking part in Lyn Thurman's Soul-Path Tribe, and it is so amazing! Actually having steps and following them is really helping me turn my life around. I highly recommend it!
I know that by taking part in this and being honest with myself and those around me about what it is that I want in my life and from life, I can achieve my dreams of being a successful Life Coach, Writer, Author and Spiritual Teacher.
Which now brings me nicely onto positive and happy news!!
I am featured in November's issue of Soul & Spirit magazine.
It tells the story of how I manifested Romance into my life through "Cosmic Ordering". What I've been saying to everyone is, that it's the METHOD of how I cosmically ordered the romance into my life, NOT who the person was (Obviously he wasn't "The One"), but it's a method that I know works, and will be the method I use again when I'm ready to find love and be in a relationship again. Unless the Universe brings me "The One" beforehand - in according with Divine Timing of course :)
Also......
Next year (2013) I am so pleased to say that I will be writing TWO very new and exciting columns for The Faeries and Angels Magazine! Both very different, and very exciting so watch this space. Also, they have a special UNICORN edition coming up soon which I am featured in so keep a look out for that and I'll update you on here ASAP.
****
SO what I have learnt from the horrible mess in my life?
1. Don't EVER let anyone have control over you, and your life.

Book Review ~ The Man Who Wanted to Be Happy ~ by Laurent Gounelle
Saturday, 22 September 2012
I was drawn to this book the second it landed on my doormat for me to review, not only because of the really pretty book cover, but the fact the the title; "The Man Who Wanted To Be Happy" spoke to me in a way that told me that this book was about someone who really did want the happiness he believed he deserved.
Laurent Gounelle's writing in this book captured me as a reader, as a life coach, and as a person who herself wants to be truly happy. I knew I had to 'check in' with this book to see if there were any tips or hidden subliminal messages throughout the text that could help me increase my own happiness levels. I wasn't disappointed!
It begins with the character in the book approaching the end of his stay in Bali ( a place I dream of visiting ever since I watched, Eat, Love, Pray) and before he left to return home to a life that wasn't making him happy he had one last trip he wanted to make; to a well known healer. In a lot of ways, this book indeed did remind me of Eat Pray Love, which in my eyes is a really good thing as I was able to identify the plot but was nevertheless as eager as the character to discover what other wise words the healer would depart to him.
I easily identified with the character who was a school teacher but wasn't happy in the job and dreamt of becoming.... well, I won't spoil it, but let's say that he had dreams. Since the reading of this book, I've found ways to feel happier in my role as a School Teacher myself, and feel that I'm finally clearing all the clutter from my life.
With those dreams, like for the majority of us, there were fears. Throughout the book, the wise healer gave insightful teachings about how he could face those fears and see them for nothing more than what we life coaches call; False Expectations Appearing Real (F.E.A.R).
I cannot recommend this book highly enough, it really is a life changing read with the tranquility of being in Bali yourself as you begin a life transformation.
This book now sits on the Staff Room coffee table and has been read by two of my colleagues already since I finished it.
You can purchase it from HAY HOUSE for a great price too!

Book Review ~ Wire Yourself for Wealth by Laura Leigh Clarke
Thursday, 30 August 2012
Hello all,
I always get that rush of adrenalin whenever I get my hands on a new book, it's been that way ever since my childhood. My weekends were spent shopping with my Mother in the city centre of Birmingham, purchasing material to make high quality bedding, curtains and all manners of home furnishings, and then we'd make our way towards Dillions Book store (now known as Waterstones). I could spend my entire life in a book shop, and these became my favourite hangouts as a child, teenager and now an adult.
So when I managed to get my excitable hands on "Wire Yourself for Wealth" by Laura Leigh Clarke, published by Hay House I was almost beside myself.
When I began reading this book I was expecting chapters of methods of how to attract money and for much of it to be the same that is already out there in Law of Attraction books. I was pleasantly surprised when I doscovered that this book was SO different to the rest. It really does cut above the others. This book helps you get focused, become pro-active, and understand your strengths and weaknesses when it comes to attracting wealth.
I enjoyed reading this as I feel it really caters for those who are working those high profile jobs such as advertising executives, lawyers, accountants, business advisory, entrepreneurs etc. But it also caters to those people who have a business but would like to wire it up for more wealth and become more profitable. You can apply this whatever job you have whether you are a customer service assistant, bank manager or run your own corner shop.
As I come from a Accountancy and Business Studies background from University, I found this book to be highly practical, informative and inspiring. So if you are a business professional, I can assure you that this book is in NO way "fluffy".
As I come from a Accountancy and Business Studies background from University, I found this book to be highly practical, informative and inspiring. So if you are a business professional, I can assure you that this book is in NO way "fluffy".
This book doesn't promise to make you a millionaire, but it does promise to help you work with your strengths along with key information on how your personal weaknesses can become your greatest strength.
Laura Leigh Clarke takes you on a journey to discover your own Wealth profile which is ideally 1 of 8 options. She does say that you may find yourself blending with nearby profiles on the circular chart, which I myself found to be the case, but just as she stated, I was clearly predominately more 1 specific profile than the others. The listed strengths of the profile I found myself to be was accurate and I found myself feeling reassured that it was OK to be just as I am when it comes to identifying my wealth profile.
I discovered my weaknesses and how I can use them to make myself more successful in attracting wealth. This is a book that I keep being drawn back to, and even thinking about the book and all I've read from it brings a smile to my face as I instantly recall many tools, advice and aspects of my profile. It instantly lifts my spirit and I've become much more relaxed in attracting wealth because now I have direction rather than feeling like a headless chicken wondering which way I should go.
I have applied the principles specific to my wealth profile and have already seen results.
Definitely well worth a read. My copy has a prominent place on my book shelf.
Available from Hay House UK for a special price of £8.79 (RRP £10.99)

Unleash your Inner Guru
Friday, 10 August 2012
The experiences we have in life and how we perceive them is completely down to us. No one else can make us perceive a situation in a certain way or experience what we do. It's all down to us. Many of us will say things such as "It's because of ....... that I can't......", or "It must be my fault that I'm feeling this way because I deserve unhappiness"... or you may even say, "I can't be like..... because.........".
STOP STOP STOP.
You are giving away your power and no one in this world deserves to have that. They have their own anyway, don't give them anymore. It's like adding extra sources of energy to a power station, don't do it. God created us all with our own power supply, our own telephone connection to God, and our own inner power to use for the good of all.
It is important how you speak to yourself, about yourself and with others. It's important that you always try to come from a place of love, pure divine unconditional love. What's more important is how you chose to behave in and perceive situations. We all know what a undesirable situation looks, sounds and feels like, but how many of us know how it looks, sounds and feels when you turn a undesirable situation into the most magickal and marvelous situation ever???? But sometimes this can be hard. But if you are willing to try, just that willingness from you will move mountains. Being willing to see things from a different perspective, and trying to respond to them in a different way is the key to changing your life.
Take back your Power! We have spent so much of our lives giving other people the power in our lives. Situations where we may have done this include; my accountant will sort my finances out, my husband can tidy the garden, my friend will get me through this hard time, my instructor will get this weight off me, I'm ugly, I'm not pretty enough, I'm not slim enough, I'm not good enough etc. The list is endless. Why are you not being pro-active and saying; "I will sort my finances out, I am going to tidy the garden, I will get through this hard time because I am strong, I am going to be a healthy weight, I'm beautiful as I am, I am perfect exactly as I am today, I am the best version of me that I can be right now with the knowledge and understanding I have and I am going to commit to hard work to achieve this".
The first set of sayings are examples of how we give our power away. You sound like you're a defenseless soul that can't get through the day without your metaphorical guru by your side. The second set of sayings are examples of how we take back our power within and become our own guru!
So how to become your own guru?
You already are a magnificent and beautiful person. Yes you are! You are alive, and you are reading this blog and for that you have lots to be thankful for. You are willing to change already, you're already wanting to improve your life, because you were drawn to read this blog. The Law of Attraction brought you here because on some level you were seeking an answer to becoming a more empowered spiritual being without becoming egotistical. So well done for getting here!
The key to being your very own guru is to believe in yourself wholeheartedly. That means, believing your gut feelings, believing that you know what is best for you, believing that you can and will achieve everything that you set out to achieve, believing that you are truly perfect as you are.
That last one can be a tricky one, but it really is true. You are perfect as you are. You've just spent so much time hiding under the bushel that you've forgotten just how much light you radiate.
Think of yourself as Tinkerbell, do you remember when her light was fading and it was all because people were declaring that Faeries didn't exist. But then children everywhere began to say the magic words... *I BELIEVE* "I believe in faeries, I do, I do, I do".
That is just like you! You spent so much time telling yourself that you can't do this or cant achieve that or are no good, not worthy .... blah blah blah... that you really need to start telling yourself that you believe in you.
Repeat after me;
" I BELIEVE IN MYSELF, I DO, I DO, I DO - I BELIEVE IN MYSELF, I DO, I DO, I DO"
Keep repeating this new mantra of yours, and one day you'll say it while smiling, and you'll feel happy, you'll even find that one day you say it to yourself looking in the mirror.
Louise L Hay, highly recommends *mirror work* which is where I first came across the method a few years ago when reading, "You can Heal your Life", and while it can be really hard to do, when you begin believing in yourself you'll smile to yourself with pure divine love as you find yourself chanting your new mantra while gazing adoringly at yourself.
It's time to believe in YOU and stand up and be heard!
It's time to turn your can'ts into cans and your dreams into plans people!

Forgiveness is the Key to Happiness
Thursday, 9 August 2012
I’ve read in a lot of books and heard a lot of spiritual teachers and life coaches say that ‘forgiveness can release you from the past’, and my initial thoughts were; ‘well that’s all well and good if you’re able to forgive people/situations with ease, you are so much better than I am because I could never forgive this person/situation, it simply hurt me too much to forgive.’ So I would just continue on in my life and hope for the best that life was willing to offer me.
Then about a week and a half ago my inner Goddess woke up and was ready to kick butt! My inner Goddess listened to that lame excuse (because that’s what it is – a lame excuse) and this time she answered back!
“Do you know something Aurora? We DESERVE the best in life and we are going to CHOOSE exactly what we are going to have in life. We are going to stop crying, we are going to find a way through this because there IS a positive way through this situation because I darn well say there is. You are a good person, and this situation is a wakeup call, it’s nothing more than just an alarm to say ‘hey it’s time to LIVE happily ever after’. You can forgive this situation, you can release it with love, and you can forgive the other person in this situation, and you CAN forgive YOURSELF.”
And immediately I knew she was right. I began telling myself, ‘I deserve the best in life and I choose what that is’, ‘I forgive you ….. for ……..and I love you’, ‘I forgive you Aurora for feeling …….. and allowing yourself to perceive this situation as …….. I love you Aurora just as you are.’
It took a while before my new thoughts actually settled within me enough for me to actually believe. But my inner Goddess was feeding me strength, she was there standing next to me, like Super Woman with her hands on her hips, confidently posing next to the weak, limp and lifeless me. Slowly I began to look up and get on my feet until today I stand next to that inner Goddess matching her confidence and pose.
Now, it wasn’t easy, but I believed with all my heart and soul that I could change my situation, I believed that I was at least going to try and as much energy as I fuelled into this, the more rewarding it was going to be. A few days in, I realised that I’d told myself and the universe so much that ‘I forgive’ that I actually DID forgive the situation and all people involved so much so that when I was faced with a new situation where I could have been bitter and twisted, I was radiating confidence, and pure love and the thought of the previous situation didn’t even enter my mind. It didn’t have a chance to enter my mind; my bodyguards wouldn’t allow it to enter my mind. I’d worked too hard to make a bad situation good that when I was then experiencing life, I was simply in the moment enjoying the truth of the situation – Pure Divine Love.
Life is made up of LOVE. Love of people, love of jobs/careers, love of food, love of places, love of objects – it’s all based on Love. But how many of us really love who we are and our life? I’d really love to say that we ALL love ourselves and our lives, but sadly for many that’s not the case and the reason behind it all is that we simply don’t believe we deserve to be happy. Refer to my opening paragraph to this post, re-read my self-limiting belief thought. That was said from my mean ego, not my pure higher self. That’s what your ego does; it puts you down, makes EVERY situation seem like the end of the world. And unless we wake up like I fortunately did this time, we carry on listening to that ego voice.
I grew up a lot over the past week, a heck of a lot because I decided that for once in my life, I wasn’t going to run and hide and spend time crying and indulging in lots of self pity. I decided to say “NO! – I accept that this has happened, but I refuse to see it from a place of lack of love. I am going to look at this situation, at myself, at the other person, at my feelings with pure divine love and I’m going to turn this all around.” And I have.
I used my spirituality to get me through, I practised elements from Kabbalah that has proved effective to me in the past, I called upon Angels, Archangels, even Mother Mary to help me. I combined all this heavenly help and assistance with my new thoughts of happiness and success.
Now I’m sat here writing this, truly knowing, understanding and feeling the true power of forgiveness and the immense healing it provides. I can say with confidence that;
Forgiveness can release you from the past and propel you into a magnificent future. Forgiveness is the Key to happiness.
Forgive yourself for allowing yourself to be in the situation that you’re in. Forgive yourself for the feelings you’re having. Forgive yourself for believing that you have to be unhappy and miserable. Then tell yourself that everything is going to be OK, and that you deserve the best in life. Tell yourself and believe with all your heart that you can chose your life experiences and have total control how you perceive life and channel your feelings and emotions. You have the power within you. You have the key to a magickal life. You simply have to lift it to the door and turn it in the lock, push the door open and take a deep breath – be brave, be happy, and walk through the door of forgiveness. What lies behind that door is life transforming happiness.

Cleansing Oracle Cards & Developing my Coaching Energies
Friday, 22 June 2012
Hi all,
Well there really hasn't been an update on here since we took part in the wonderfully popular Blog Tour that we played host to that featured the wonderful Doreen Virtue Ph.D.
Since then, as a spiritual counselor and Self-Taught Life Coach, I have been working behind the scenes on developing new ideas, new blog tutorials to follow on from the successful "Words of Love" series I ran a few weeks back, and also spending time connecting with all my oracle cards.
I have quite a large collection of Oracle Cards and this weekend, starting today, I am taking the time to cleanse, empower and energize all of them. I'll be using White Sage to remove any negativity or energies of "lack" from them, then I'll be placing each deck in my Singing Bowl to really cleanse and energize them. Lastly, I'll bless them with a prayer, and ask my guides, Angels, Faeries and all spiritual beings to infuse them with accuracy, love and positivity. Then each deck is placed on my special oracle shelf with crystals surrounding them to keep their energies high. I don't like to cover them up by wrapping them in a cloth (Although MANY, MANY people do - and everyone has to find their way of doing things) as I like to think that the blessings and energies coming from them are free to travel and roam around my homes auric field.
Also, I do have an update with regards to my Life-Coaching/Spiritual Counselling role. Next FEBRUARY (2013) I will be beginning two new exciting modules at University as part of my degree. They will be covering Counselling and it's role in dealing and coping with depression and bereavement, thus exploring fear and sadness in our lives, and they will also be covering, the biological aspect of psychology. This side to psychology will be delving a little deeper into what happens when people are diagnosed with a Mental Health illness such as schizophrenia. Although they are "sad" topics, they are also topics that interest me a great deal as at the end of the study of them, I will have a deeper academic understanding of some of the topics I deal with when working with clients, especially when helping those who are coping with a bereavement.
I have found that as my own romantic relationship has strengthened and deepened through my work with gratitude and Living a Life of Blessings, I have become a stronger, happier and healthier person. It's this level of positivity that motivates me to continue with my planning of exciting Blog Tutorials featuring my Spiritual Soul Life Coaching for you all to learn from, be inspired by, and live your life with greater blessings.

Finding Spiritual Love
Saturday, 12 May 2012
We live our lives searching, searching for love, searching for the right career, searching for enlightenment, searching for the perfect home, but searching for happiness is the common thread amongst all the searches.
At some point within our lives we are searching for someone special whom we regard as our Soulmate or Twin Flame. We all want to share our lives with someone who makes us feel whole and complete, perfect together as we are alone. Some of us spend so many years searching for *The One* only to be repeatedly let down time and again, but when you first meet that someone special, there really is no denying that something very special is going on.
Think back to the moments where you have been in the early stages of romance with a partner. It may be an ex of yours, it may be your current lover, perhaps it is your husband or wife. Travel back to those moments where you would recall every word they spoke to you as if they were speaking some sacred truth that you just HAD to remember. Think back to the first time he/she ever held your hand and freeze in that moment. How did you feel? Happy? Peaceful? Tranquil? Euphoric?
I recall the moment that my hand was first held in my current relationship, a scene that was re-created by us quite recently. He took my hand and entwined his fingers with mine and simply held it, not wanting to let it go. He even went so far as to not letting my hand go to open doors or get his phone from his pocket, he even said how much he wished he could have held my hand as he drove the car (Of course he didn't, you have to drive responsibly!). But even right at this moment in time as I think back to the freeze frame of him holding my hand, no words exchanged in that brief moment, just a unity, a togetherness, a closeness, a Godly Oneness, a smile creeps across my face just as it did in that brief moment.
The reason I want you to remember those moments is because when we find ourselves seemingly separated from Love (In truth we cannot be separate from all that is because we are all that is) and feeling alone and unloved, we forget just how magickal being in love can be.
This is the same when we find ourselves lost in life and upon our spiritual pathway. When we feel separate from God, all we need to do is think of a moment in our lives where we felt true deep happiness and love, capture that moment, freeze ourselves within the memory (remember your mind cannot comprehend what is happening right now or what you are imagining), then we can begin to walk back on the path of positivity, the path to true enlightenment, the path to Happiness and Love. The path to the God Source.
Whilst I have been studying Kabbalah, I came across a short extract from a poem which I know that when I can recall those moments of Love, and feel the happiness a symbolic gesture of love from another being as we are united in the God Force of Love, I know that I can say this with my heart and not just my voice.
"I love you not for what you are
But for what I am when I am with you.
I love you not for what you have made of yourself
But for what you are making of me." ~ Anon.
I truly love this short extract simply because it doesn't give your power of transformation over to others, it simply states that whilst you are surrounded by this person's energy that is made in the likeness of God, you are influenced by this energy and you are becoming a better person, a happier person, a more secure person, a more positive person, and a more loving person. You begin to see yourself just as the other person sees you, as perfect, whole and beautiful. They see you as Loved and you see yourself as Loveable.
***
You can use this guidance to help you find love, as thinking memories of love, focusing not on the person but on the feelings you had/have can only enhance your love life making it better, and more harmonious. You can also use this guidance to help manifest anything in our life that you desire by focusing on a time in your life where you felt love, because as you capture that moment and feel that feeling of love and happiness with your deepest being, you can then think of things/people/situations that you want to attract into your life immediately following the memories. This is because a Like attracts Like law, the spiritual law of attraction and manifestation is always present with you and your feelings, thoughts, and hopes.
Go forth and make your dreams come true, and remember to love with every fibre of your being.

Words of Love ~ Part Three
Monday, 7 May 2012
Welcome to the final part in the "Words of Love Series" by Aurora Brierley.
Hopefully by now you have learnt how to stand up to your EGO and simply acknowledge it's presence, but you will hopefully also have learnt how to quieten it's voice internally. By doing this you should have found more opportunities to speak more loving to yourself, within yourself and about yourself.
Stick with this and I promise that with practice you will see a positive change within your own life.
Now that you are feeling much more in control of your life and feeling happier, thinking happy thoughts and starting to enjoy life, you may have noticed areas in your life that simply don't make you happy. This might mean that you've realised your job doesn't make you happy, or your relationship is no longer full of passion, or perhaps you really do think your whole style needs a make-over. This generally does happen as we create a shattering of illusions, where everything we have ever known begins to fall apart.
Many of us immediately and perhaps subconsciously react to this shattering of our illusions by trying to hysterically hold onto everything around us and panic about what we are losing. I've done this in the past myself. But over time, I've learnt to truly take a risk, let go of my EGO's need to control everything and Let God guide me. It wasn't easy to begin with, but now whenever I find my life shattering illusions, I actually look forward to them. Before you think I am *crazy*, let me explain.
When I look forward to these shattering of illusions, it means many things to me, one of them being that I am changing. I can either embrace this change or kick, stamp and scream my way through this part of my life path like a petulant toddler or I can be the grown up spiritual peaceful warrior (not WORRIER) that the God Force intended me to be and see WHY my illusions need to be shattered.
There is always a reason for everything that happens in your life!
Nothing happens for no reason, we attract to us what we need, what we want and what we desire in order to grow and be happier people. When a situation shows up and it's crappy, instead of thinking, "Hang on, I don't want this, give me back my romance, give me back my £100s of pounds, give me back my clothes/shoes/friends/books/ etc" and then go around trying to cling on to them for dear life. It doesn't work. Not in a consistently or continuous way that will benefit you at all.
Instead, you should say to yourself, "OK it appears to me that ......(fill in the blank)..... is happening right now in my life. That is OK, because for this to happen, it means that I am ready to change and improve my life. Now this illusion is being shattered, there will be room for....(peace/love/joy/happiness/fresh exciting work opportunities/opportunities to talk about my feelings with my loved one/friends).
You begin your self talk with the three words "Appears to be", this is specifically the chosen words I set out for you because it immediately doesn't try to tell yourself something that is untrue. It doesn't say that the situation IS or ISN'T happening, it simply states that it APPEARS TO be happening. Which is what is happening in truth. We each see situations differently and that is down to a psychological perceptions that tie in with the schemas (groups of memories of likeness) that we have been using, and adding to over our whole entire life.
In order to change your circumstance, you first need to change your perception of it
Changing the way your perception of the situation that is causing the stripping of your illusions is the key to becoming more peaceful with yourself, happier and more able to love yourself as you are. When you follow the above guidance of choosing how to IN-teract with your circumstance rather than RE -act to it, you take your EGO out of the situation and approach it with Love.
When you chose to IN-teract with a situation, you chose to examine from within, and when you examine from within, you examine with Love.
I have worked with this method myself over lots of situations, some that have included a shattering of friendship illusions, career illusions, body image illusions, and more. In each instance, the first time you use *The Self Love Method* (as discussed in it's entirety over the 3 consecutive blog posts), it feels as though you are actively taking control of your life. For me it took a few uses, perhaps a weeks worth (if done every day) of using this method, to actually re-train my own brain, to INteract with the illusions as they are shattered, to actually think, "This is OK, It's happening because I am ready for something better to occur in my life experience".
Now, although I am finding at the moment that any seemingly negative situation can be rectified with my *Self Love Method*, I have to admit that I do tend to get excited when I realise that this situation is a shattering of illusions. Before I would have perhaps cried and had a complete melt-down, but now, these situations have no hold over me at all. They don't even really so much as GRAB my attention like they used to. They are now nothing more than a mere observation whereby I say, "Oh, you're an illusion and you are being shattered!! You are being shattered from my life because It's time for me to become even happier, even healthier, even more in control of my own destiny! BRING IT ON!!!" And that statement comes from my heart and not my EGO, so there is no selfishness, no jealousy, no cockiness in the tone in which that Self Talk comes from.
When you reach this stage, and you will, - You will have mastered a magnificent way to use Words of Love within yourself, about yourself, and to yourself.
The key to remember whilst you practice this method (and you can print out the three blog posts, write down the main key points, copy selected sentences from the blog post into your journal etc to remind you), is that "Nothing in your life that comes across as negative is worthy of dripping and oozing from you and all over you, ruining your life. The only way you deserve to be dripping and oozing is with Self Love, which is the Love of the God Force"
