The March of Mayhem

Hi everyone,

How is your month of March going? I appologise for not stopping by for the past 20 days, it's very naughty of me, forgive me? Pwetty pwease?

I'm taking part in Lyn Thurman's "Soul Path Tribe" and have been since it;s launch in November 2012. It's helped me make goals, and reach targets that I quite possibly would never have achieved without the support and accountability. This month, has been the worst month for me in all honesty when it comes to setting goals and meeting them. I say that, but in hindsight I have achieved some pretty awesome stuff too.

Each month we work with a Goddess who we learn about and literally we bounce ideas off each other of ways in which we can be creative, express ourselves and even have a whinge and moan (Obviously i'm the whinge and moan queen LOL), but it's a lovely friendship group and sister-brother hood of dreams and miracles.

This month, we worked with Ixchel, the Mayan Rainbow Goddess. Boy do I not click with her!! So much that I've already printed off April's workbook section, and filled in my goals for next month! Next month we will be working along side ARTEMIS :D See now you know why I'm so happy! isn't Artemis the most amazing kick ass, focused, determined, enchanting energy you've ever come across? Yep, that's why I adore working with her so much! So April is going to be a kick-ass month for achievement, focus and love.

In other news, I spent time in Hospital having tests because I couldn't breathe :( I had chest x-rays, blood tests, oxygen levels, ECG, blood pressure, canulars etc, you name it, I had it. In the end the doctor who was very nice, told me that I had a very severe chest infection, which would clear up with antibiotics, lots of fluids and rest at home. I was released from the A&E department after being teased by Mr Doctor about my fear of needles, and sent home to rest and recuperate. I'm pleased to say that I'm feeling much much better now, and just have the odd coughing fit but overall I'm well again.

The sessions aren't too hard going, nor are they so easy that you feel that you lack momentum, but then again, we're talking about 10 coaching sessions (at your leisure) with SuperCoach Michael Neill - so what do you really expect?

I didn't quite know what to expect from this book, but I got more than what I ... well expected! You come away from each session with a task, some homework to work on and you don't have a time frame for any of this, it's completely at your leisure, and when you are ready (because who knows ourselves better than we know ourselves?) you return to the book and continue through to the next session.

This book spoke to my soul - my feminine soul that just like the cover says 'had a sacred ache to embrace my feminine power'. The fact that the title incorporated the guiding planet of my birth - Venus, of course had little to do with it ;)

This book has 5 sections written in it; VENUS ECLIPSED, VENUS IN LOVE, THE GODDESS MOTHER, VENUS AT WORK, and RESURRECTING VENUS

Each part has deep wisdom that I believe each and every woman knows deep in her soul, but for one reason or another find it difficult to believe/accept/acknowledge. Cynthia knows the difficulties we as women face in claiming back our unique power, and she helps the reader by giving them the space, the reason and the accountability to embrace who we are. Cynthia is a true inspiration and a true magnificent Goddess in her own right - just as we are.

Once a school drop out, and welfare Mum, she has reclaimed her power and become a popular blogger, speaker and empowerment teacher to women. She runs a successful business, lives in Bel Air, California and holds a Law Degree - yes, a woman proud to have both BEAUTY & BRAINS - a positive role model for all women, whatever their age, I believe.

My favourite sections of this book were parts, 1, 2, and 5, because they motivated me, empowered me, comforted me, inspired me, and touched my raw inner goddess, my inner Cleopatra to become the true feminine goddess I am. Section 2, VENUS IN LOVE, was my overall favourite section, as I am ever the hopeful romantic and reading from another Goddess Sister these words awakened my inner soul and lifted her to the highest heights;

When I read those words, I almost wanted to scream "YES!" at the book - because I finally felt that it was perfectly OK for me to desire such a man - a man that has been seemingly demoted to glaze the covers of Mills and Boon passionate novels. I finally felt 'sane' in what I desired in a man, with a man, and from a man. (Thank you Cynthia!)

In that same section Cynthia shares valuable information on how you can have a Goddess and God relationship fit for approval by Cleopatra!

I certainly beamed a bounty of love from my heart to hers upon reading the closing page.
